About Me
I’m Phil Knott and I’m based just outside Reading, in West Berkshire,
England.
I first became interested in photography in the late 1970’s, but it wasn’t
until 1981 when I got my first camera, a Pentax ME Super that I started
to take picture taking more seriously.
I have a real passion for all types of photography and over the years
have tackled most genres, although my favourite without a doubt is
working with people.
I have a real desire to create images that get more than a ‘second
glance’. I don’t aim to shock, instead I look to create images people
‘feel’ and most importantly, react to.
I can’t be satisfied just taking ‘photographs’ I aspire to create great
images that people will want to look at, not only once but time and time
again.
I strive to continually improve and search for every opportunity to do
that. It’s a well-worn cliché I know, but you really do never stop learning.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little piece of the Internet, I
hope you like what you see.
